JOB EXPERIENCE:
(1) Served in army for two years (2002-2004).
(2) Currnetly working with DENO GOLD MINING COMPANY, Kapan as Geologist. During this period I gained experience in various field of exploration. A terse description was as follows:
(a) As database Administrator:
(i) Used Microsoft Office Excel & Microsoft Office Acces to input historic drill holes data
(ii) Used Scanning software to scan historic drill holes documentations.
(b) As GIS Administrator:
(i) Used Discovery Map Info, GTX Image softwares for digitizing topography, maps.
(ii) Used Datamine software to project new drill holes & to project new roads, drill pads, to calculate volume for projected constructions, etc.
(3) Worked with ZCMC, Kajaran as Engineer since two years. During this period I gained experience in various fields of opencast mining. A terse description was as follows:
(a) As a mine survey Engineer & as a member of short term planning Team:
(i) Used various survey instruments like Total station (Techeometer TCR705), Theodolite, Optical Theodolite (Dalta-015"), etc.
(ii) Summer, winter & rainy season excavation planning based upon machine availability & mill feed to meet the Business Plan targets.
(iii) Used EASY TRACE software to digitize maps.
(iv) Worked as a Datamine user to do Resource Modeling, Volume calculation, Pre & post split surface generation, Open pit design & Short term planning.
(b) As a Floatator Engineer in mill, I handled following responsibilities:
(i) Controlling of reagents for the better performance of Floatation cells.
(ii) Quality control for the final product (Copper & Molybdenum concetrates).
(iii) Quality control of tailings.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATION:
Software skills:
Dos & Windows operating systems, Microsoft office.
Softwares: DATAMINE Studio, Down Hole Explorer, Present, Easy Trace, Discovery Map Info, GTXImage CAD Series, Auto CAD, Qiuck CAD, NPV Sheduler.
Milling skills:
Attended a 6 months course on “Basic Milling operations” at State Engineering University of Armenia, Kapan.
I have a 8 months practical experience of Copper-Molybdenum milling operations. During this period I worked on the following project:
“To improve the recovery of Molibdenum by using better floatation techniques”.
